Okay, so yes. I have been a shitty blogger. But now, I hope to make up for it at least slightly with this blog post.

As I had stated in my previous post, I had quit my job.  My last day is on Thursday. I am both happy and sad about it.  I will miss the people that I work with, though, those who are “true” friends will keep in touch.  Always important.  Then again, we all know how bad I am at keeping up friendships!!

OH. Big news.  My friend Stephanie Dosen has her new albumn almost out. GO and pre-order. You can hear snippets of her songs on her website.  Please please please support her. I promise you will NOT regret it!! She is a knitter too who does phenomenal work, but had to leave her stash in Nashville so I am going to be sending her some knitterly lovin … (can we say koigu … maybe some home spun … etc!!).

Ok. Now back to our regularly scheduled program.

This is my own top down design using Lorna’s Laces, Shepard’s Worsted with Louet Gems as an accent (the one on the ball winder).  Once completed I’ll of course show you all! Until then, you will just have to wait it out. But be happy, at least I posted a picture.

Also, I now have Angel back at my house.  For those of you who have known me forever, Angel is a familiar presence.  For those of you who are new … she is a deaf great dane that is 6.5 years old that Ralph and I got as a puppy.  Her and whitley are getting along like a dream!!

I gave my two weeks notice at work today. Liberating and scary at the same time.

You mean all those posts that I’ve dreamed about posting didn’t really happen?? Well hot damn people … why didn’t you tell me that!! Here I thought I had been keeping you all up to date … bad Morgan … bad bad Morgan …

Well ok … since I’ve had some people point my lack of blogging out to me, not that I would mention any names … right Amy, Karen and Nancy?! I have decided that I should post.

Lets do this point form shall we?:

1. I have the week off. I plan on being at the yarn store (Make 1) on Friday during the day.
2. I have moved my bedroom into the spare bedroom and have changed the bedroom into an office (I will post pictures I just want to make sure that I take one of it all done(
3. I am currently struggling with the lack of time I am spending with Cameron.
4. I haven’t been knitting a whole lot … my mom even pointed it out to me. So I’ve picked it up again … spinning too.
5. I have been a horrible friend to my friends. I feel slight guilt over it. But then again I know that my friends understand. I am sometimes not a nice person I think … And I am working on that. I’ve had to come to the realization that I am acting out in a protective way … its stupid. I’m sorry. And I’m going to work on being a better friend by doing less avoiding of those of you I really care about …
6. For those of you wondering … the IUD is great … other than me giving birth to Cameron all over again for a day or two its doing awesome.
7. I weigh more than I ever have in my whole life. I am back on Jenny Craig. I love the food and need the ease right now of planned menu’s and food. (thanks Karen for the bite of dessert today … it really was just the taste I needed rather than scarfing down my own serving).
6. I am teaching a class at Make One this summer. A top down raglan class. I looooove this class. So sign up if you want to take it. We have a great time.
7. I signed up for Amy’s Crochet sweater that is from her book that is out in January 2008 (holy crap!! thats like … 8 months away … breath amy breath).
8. I have been learning to love myself. I miss my dad. And I’m moving into a full mourning period. I am off my antidepressants which is good because I no longer feel numb.
9. Watch Music and Lyrics for a great laugh, especially if you liked the 80s era of music. I laughed through the whole movie … well worth watching.
10. I have started my own Virtual Assistant business. All your Executive Assistant/Personal Assistant needs without the overhead of having someone full time, paying for equipment or benefits … I have a few clients already and its awesome!!!
